Robert Lockear & Mychalene Deese immortalize the legend of Henry Berry Lowrie in documentary.

This is an invitation to all of those who were in or supported the outdoor drama Strike at the Wind from 1976-2003. A reunion will be held Saturday July 2nd, 2005 at 2 pm at the North Carolina Indian Cultural Center. Admission is $1 per person at the gate and a covered dish.
Everyone is asked to bring a lawnchair or blanket, photos of when you were a part of the drama. If you family member is deceased we ask you to come and share a memory with us.
Plates and drinks will be available for sale. Proceeds from the reunion dinner and the gate will go toward replacing the  wooden seats in the Adolph L. Dial Amphitheater with iron mesh seating. Also a portion of the sales from "Our Strike at the Wind Memories" will go to the local food bank.

Special Offer..Our Strike at the Wind Memories. The only book to date published with an actual interview with the 8 great grandchildren of Henry Berry Lowie, Lowrie had 2 daughters and one son. His daughter who;s nickname was "Polly" had a daughter named Pearl who is the mother of these 8. Pearl died in childbirth and her children were raised by their grandmother Polly who was around the age of 9 the last time she saw her father Henry Berry Lowrie, His disappearance is not a mystery to them. They are glad someone finally asked them as they are tired of people lying about their great grandfather.
